Fiction

Celia Bryce writes short fiction and drama. Her stories have featured in: Stand Magazine, The Cork Literary Review, The Fish Anthology and The Mail on Sunday amongst others. She has had a number of stories broadcast on Radio 4 and is a regular commercial fiction contributor to Women's Weekly.

Headlines and Other Growing Pains - (Biscuit Publishing) is a collection of short stories published by Biscuit in October 2005.
Extracts from the book

Her radio play The Skategrinder (based on 'Skateblades' published in the Fish anthology) won The Richard Imison Award, for a first radio drama in 2003. She has written drama for children, for medical education purposes and her short play 'Magpies' was performed throughout the summer 2005 at the Beehive Theatre, Dingle, County Kerry. She has an MA in Creative Writing and was Writer in Residence for the MA 2003-2004 at Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne. Celia is currently working on her second children's novel.
